High School CROSS COUNTRY meet & Citizen's Race open to the public
2008 CAPITAL INVITE
September 13, 2008 At Heritage Park - Capitol Lake (map)
The Capital High School Cross Country team cordially invites you and your team to participate in the Capital Invite Cross Country meet September 13, 2008.
Race format: Will be organized by class and gender. There will be no team score. Results will be printed and ready before you leave.
Citizen's Race: Open to the public...all ages welcome ..entry

Awards: Each class and gender winners as well as the overall fastest men's and women's runner will receive a plaque. Second place and third place in each division will receive a medal and 4th through 20th will receive a ribbon. There will be watermelon for all runners. Music will be by Drizzle.
Tee Shirts will be available for purchase.
Time Schedule:
9:45 Citizen's race-$5.00 entry fee. Unattached students may race as well, but should not wear school uniform and will be required to pay the fee. Awards can be picked up after the race at the timers table.
10:15-Coaches meeting at the storage shed at the south end of the track
10:30-Frosh Men10:50-Frosh Women
11:15-Sophmore Men
11:35-Sophmore Women
12:00-Junior Men
12:20-Junior Women
12:45-Senior Men
1:05-Senior Women
1:30-Kid's half mile cross country run-ribbons for all-free
