I have recently started training for a Marathon - my first one! In the
past I have only run short distances to keep fit. I am now following a
recommended regular training schedule and I have no trouble running the
The only problem I am experiencing is caused by excessive sweating. When
my clothes are wet they chafe my nipples causing them to bleed and become
extremely sore. At first I thought this would go away after regular
training but it has not. Besides applying Band-Aids before I run (which,
by the way, fall off as I sweat more) do you have any suggestions how I can
overcome this annoying problem.

Hi Gary - thanks for the question - this is a very common problem with long distance runners. We have had great success using moleskin rather than a Band-Aid. It tends to stick quite well, even when you sweat. Good luck with your first marathon!
