I am a past runner who became real good real fast. However, after runnig for a couple of years I became taller and started to have a lot of injuries. I'm currently 6ft, 2" tall. My strength as a runner was my endurance, the longer the event the better I was. I love to compete and miss it greatly. I've always enjoyed endurance events. My knees still ache from past injuries when I go on a run. My question is this? What would be a good alternative sport for me, based upon the quick facts I gave?
Anthony, cross training is a great way to extend your runnning career. Try in line skating. No impact, great cross training workout, and the competition can be fun - hockey, racing and other fun things like touring races.
