
7 months ago I first experienced the pain of ITB syndrome which went on to
become prepatellar bursitis. I have seen a physio who suggested the stretches
and building up certain muscles which were underused in my walking/running
(glutes). I've also seen podiatrist and am trying insoles. However, after 7
months and with no relief I'm getting to my wits end. I want to be active
again. I have 'burning' sensations in my knees. Any advice please and will I
ever be normal again?!
Have them post your orthotics more aggressively - much more aggressively. Use
ice every day as if it was your religion, take NSAID's at theraputic levels, and
stretch daily. There is relief after ITB strain.
