I started jogging in April after my fourth day of jogging I woke up the following morning with a deep pain on the bottom and right side of my tailbone. I have not run since and have gone to PT and had a stretching exercise program, heat, ultrasound and electro therapy to the region where the pain is. I recently was referred to another PT which noticed one leg shorter than the other (the right leg) he gave me a sole lift to help with the problem. The pain is manageable but really intensifies when I bend over from a sitting position or bend my neck towards the ground sitting is also less comfortable than standing. I have not been diagnosed with any thing and was wondering if you had any suggestions of what the problem is.
Ryan, you have to go and see a physical medicine doctor. It sounds just like a disc bulge to me. You should be having your back attended to! Try icing your back, and do simple single knee to chest and double knee to chest exercises while you are waiting for an appointment.
Good Luck
