Important event information for the Columbus Day Triathlon/Duathlon/Kids mini-tri & Footraces, October 7, 2007
| TIME: | Adults: Noon, Kids: 2:00 p.m. Packet pick up starts at 10:30 a.m. and goes until 11:45 a.m.

| DISTANCE: | TRI: 250 meter swim, 13 mile bike, 3 mile run. DU: 2 mile run, 13 mile bike, 2 mile run KIDS: 25 yard swim or wade, 3/4 mile bike, 1/4 mile run FOOTRACES: 10K, 5K & 1 miler
|
| COURSE: | SWIM: Out and back along buoy line, in man made lake, water temps in the 60's. Wetsuits are recommended but not required. BIKE: Out and back all flat with few turns on scenic, paved, country roads. RUN: All flat out and back with aide stations on the course. Cour
se is perfect for beginners or veterans. KIDS: Flat all in the park.

| AGE GROUPS: | 0-5, 6-9, 10-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 up. Also team divisions of male, female and mixed.

| AWARDS: | Top 7 overall winners in the triathlon male and female will receive trophies. Top 3 overall in the duathlon will also receive trophies. Top 3 in 5 year age groups will receive neck medals. NOTE: If you don't receive an age group award you will receive a finisher medal.

| T-SHIRTS: | All entrants will receive a designer Columbus Day short sleeve shirt, unless the no t-shirt option is checked. You can also order an extra short sleeve shirt, tank top or longsleeve shirt. You can also upgrade to a tank top or longsleeve shirt. All garments are
100 percent cotton and are preshrunk. Sizes are small, medium, large, XL, adults and childrens sizes.

| DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: | From the north take I-5 south to Olympia and take Hwy 101 north to hwy 8 and head west towards the ocean. Take the second Elma exit and turn left over the freeway, go to Wenzelslough road and turn right. Park is 1/4 on the right side. From the south
on I-5 take EXIT 88B (Aberdeen) and go west on hwy 12. Follow to Elma and turn left on hwy 8, take the 1st exit and turn left over the freeway. Turn right on Wenzelslough road, park is 1/4 on the right.

| OTHER INFO: | 5th annual holiday events with lots of postrace food and quality awards. There will be lots of fruit, veggies, sandwiches and other goodies. There will also be cold bottled water and other drinks. Results will be posted at www.ontherunevents.com and www.racecenter.com
