Important event information for the Mid Summer Fun Run, July 4, 2000
| TIME: | 1 mile kids..7:30 am 10k/5k...8:30 am |
| PLACE: | Anytown CA @ Washington High School |
| DISTANCE: | 10k, 5k, 2 mile run/walk, 1 mile kids dash |
| COURSE: | Extremely flat and fast paved course is an out and back that winds thru the city with spectacular views of the nearby mountains and scenic shoreline. The view will leave you breathless. |
| AGE GROUPS: | 14 and under 15-18 19-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70+ |
| AWARDS: | Plaques to male and female winners of the 10k and 5k run, both open and masters (40+), Ribbons to top 3 in each age group, both male and female for both races. |
| T-SHIRTS: | A originally designed t-shirt is offered with your entry fee. Shirts are only offered to pre-registered runners only. NO DAY OF RACE shirts will be available...sorry |
| DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: | Take the Bayshore expressway North to I-408. Take the city center exit and follow the main street right to the high school |
| OTHER INFO: | Please join us for the 25th annual "Mid Summer Fun Run". All proceeds go to the John Doe Memorial

I will not enter unless I'm medically able and properly trained, agree that event officials may authorize necessary medical treatment for me. I assume all risks associated with participation in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with spectators or participants, weather, traffic, and surface conditions of roads and sidewalks. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration Of Your accepting my entry, I, for myself, heirs, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release [sponsors & event organizers here] and all other sponsors, volunteers, and contributors from any and all liability arising from my participation in this event, even if that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of persons named in this waiver.
