I just had the wonderful opportunity to run in the Golsborough Creek Run
in Shelton this Saturday. What a beautiful race and course. This scenic 7
miler starts outside the city and runs on lovely 2 lane country roads for
the first 5 1/2 miles. It winds around a lake and past farm and graving
land. Gently rolling but mostly flat and fast course. The finish is
lighting fast right through downtown Shelton. The food afterwards is above
average (water, fruit, and bagels) and though not many prizes/ribbons the
randon drawings had gifts for about 1/3 of the runners. A definate return
trip next year and if you have a family stay for the festival and parade.
What a GREAT event!!!!
