Albany Recycle Run

It is unfortunate that this was the last running of this seventeen year old annual event. I've been running it for only six or seven years but it quickly became my favorite. The 1st. mile of the run begins by weaving in and around several city streets housing some of the oldest and his
toric homes in the area. After that, we drop down into, and run around a lovely park coming out onto a winding country road which usually is bordered by pumpkin fields. No pumpkins this year, or at least, I didn't notice them. Finally, we turn-a-round and head back for a wonderful brunch with
several fresh fruits, gooey rolls and drinks. Capping it off is a children's run around the park and an award ceremony in which it seems almost everyone gets some sort of notice. All in all, a great family event. Thank you to all the runners who have run this race. Your positive attitudes bea
