I feel cheated. I ran all 13.1 miles and my time was never posted. I talked with Peg Morgan (she worked with the Mercer Island 1/2 mar.) and I thought we had come to an agreement that I would have my time posted. I paid the money to enter the race and I logged the miles. It was unfortunate that during my run I had to stop numerous times to apply vasoline onto my very blistered feet. While tending to my feet around the 6 mile marker I had taken my shoes off, I had to take off my chip (which records the time) I left it on the log I was sitting on........da da da. Hence no chip when I crossed the finish line.
I would just like justice in this situation. It is not everyday that one can say " hey look here I did a half marathon. I didn't break any records and I didn't win any bets. 2:11:46 is no great "feet". Please help my blue feeling.
