Event Fact Sheet

Saturday, September 8, 2012 it’s a Fun Run and more!
The “Good Dog” Fun Run is held in conjunction with the Lacey Community Market “Pet Days”. In addition to the 5K or 1 mile event, you and your pet can enjoy the activities, displays, food booths, & local market vendors at Huntamer Park from 10am – 4pm.

Location
The courses start & finish in Woodland Square Loop, one block from Huntamer Park & the Lacey Community Market, 4525 7th Ave SE, Lacey, 98503.

Humans & Dogs Welcome
You are welcome to run or walk with or without your dog!
• Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
• Dogs must be properly licensed, vaccinated, and wear a collar & ID tags.
• Female dogs in any stage of heat are not allowed at the event.
• Maximum one dog per participant please
This event is for people and their canine pet; no other animals please.

The Cause
Proceeds will benefit “Tucker’s Fund”, to provide emergency vet care to needy animals. This fund helps animals like Tucker, who was found with a crushed leg and brought to the shelter. His leg was so damaged and infected that it had to be amputated. Tucker quickly recovered from his surgery and acted like a new pup, running and jumping around on his 3 legs! A family fell in love with Tucker and took him home to join their household. Your participation will support more happy endings like Tucker’s! “Tucker’s Fund” is administered by Thurston County Animal Services.
