Brief Description

This race is likely the hardest half and full marathon in Washington State. The course takes you on beautiful trails through Capitol Forest outside of Olympia. Steep climbs, technical trails, lots of mud, beautiful views... you'll have to work hard for this finish! Start and finish at the Rock Candy parking in Capitol Forest. It's not worth it if you don't have to work for it. Each runner will receive awesome race swag (as usual). Yeehaw!

Additional Information

Marathon $75 before Feb. 15/$80 after (t-shirt not guaranteed). Half Marathon $60 before Feb. 15/$65 after (t-shirt not guaranteed). Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male/female finisher. ALL runners will receive a t-shirt, finishing medal, and other cool race swag! Race is a benefit for Friends of Capitol Forest and to help DNR raise money to build a shelter at the Margaret McKinney Campground in Capitol Forest.
